Open Daily: Call for Hours

The Senior Nutrition Program began in 1976 through the Hoopa Health Association which is now K’ima:w Medical Center. Currently there are approximately 32 area seniors who are serviced in their homes under this program. The Senior Center currently hosts anywhere from 20 to 40 clients throughout the day at its site on Loop Road in Hoopa. Van services are available to qualified seniors for transportation to the market, post office, bank and to K'ima:w Medical Center. For van service contact (530) 625.4834 before 10:30am. Call the Senior Nutrition Center for more information about special activities, lunch menus, birthdays and hours of operation. The Senior Nutrition Center is a NON-SMOKING facility. There are NO chewing tobacco, alcohol or drugs allowed on premises. We ask that you please be courteous and not to offend in word or deed. Personal cleanliness is mandatory for health reasons.

MEALS

Meals are served from Noon to 1pm, Monday through Friday except holidays. There is a suggested donation of $1 for Seniors ages 60 and over. The cost of a Non-Senior meal is $4. You do not need to make reservations.
