Along with operating the Tribal Aggregate Business, Hoopa Valley Tribal Roads Department manages and maintains over 108 miles of road throughout the Hoopa Reservation, with more miles being added or renovated each year. Hoopa Roads Department also offers various services to the Hoopa Valley through it's heavy equipment rental and construction services. The roads department works closely with several of the natural resource departments in both construction and maintences areas.

Located at the Roads Department Maintenance Yard within the Tribal Agency Campus Compound. The New Construction branch of the Roads Department provides Construction Management for new road construction, realignment, and repair. Current projects include Matilton Cut-off, Loop, Campbell Field, Tish-Tang, Translator, Dowd, and Moon Lane Roads.

Future projects identified by the Hoopa Valley Indian Reservation Transportation Plan, 2002-2007, include Bald Hill Slide, Bald Hill Repair, Big Hill Road, BIA Campus Streets, Mill Creek, and Redwood Grove Roads.
