Q’o:so:s was created in the memory of Elsie Mae Gardner Ricklefs. The Q’o:so:s Networking Project (QNP) is made up of a network of people who are dedicated to improving health and wellness in the Klamath-Trinity communities. We work directly with service providers so that they can better serve the people in our community. Monthly Network meetings provide an opportunity for individuals to meet, exchange ideas, and share program information. Individuals can get involved with project activities simply by attending the monthly networking meetings. There are no fees to join and everyone is welcome to attend. Meetings are scheduled on the first Thursday of each month. Locations vary, so look for announcements or call our office for more information.

HOPS is a nonprofit organization that was formed when a couple of concerned community members decided they wanted to take action against the abuse and neglect of pets and strays on the Reservation. Since 1998, HOPS has hosted several free spay and neuter events, held bingo and food fundraisers and created an awareness of proper pet ownership through community outreach. HOPS has been very successful in assisting with pet adoption and in controlling the pet overpopulation on the Hoopa Reservation. Currently, HOPS has 40 members. HOPS accepts donations either through adoption, volunteer services, or directly to their bank account at Coast Central Credit Union.
