DISPATCHER | Tribal Police
Regular, Full-Time Salary: $14.50 – $15.83/hour
DUTIES: Performs a wide variety of dispatching duties for emergency and non-emergency calls; dispatches police officers, medical, and fire personnel and equipment to calls for service.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess high school diploma or GED. Must have a California Driver’s License and be insurable. Also possess a valid CPR and First aid or obtain within 90 days. Must have completed (or be able to complete) approved Dispatcher’s Course within one year. Subject to background check in accordance with Title 30 A.

JANITOR | Plant Management
Regular, Full-Time, Salary: $12.50/hour
DUTIES: Cleans and maintains assigned tribal buildings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must have at least one (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a Valid CA Driver’s License and be insurable (provide proof of Driver’s License with application). Must have your own personal vehicle and show proof of insured transportation.

MAINTENANCE/GROUNDSKEEPER| 2 positions | Plant Management
Temporary, Full-Time, Salary: $11.50/hour
DUTIES: During peak Spring/Summer months will assist full time maintenance in the upkeep of Pookey’s Park, Tribal Facilities and the Tribal Offices/Entities located at various locations of the Hoopa Valley with mowing, green machining and keeping the sprinkler systems maintained.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must have at least three (3) to five (5) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a Valid CA Driver’s License and be insurable (provide proof of Driver’s License with application).

STORE MANAGER | Hoopa Shopping Center
Regular, Full-Time, Salary: DOE
DUTIES: Effectively develops and directs implementation of strategies which achieve corporate goals. Effectively supervises, directs and manages all phases of the store operations. Achieves the Hoopa Shopping Center’s goals and objectives.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a minimum of 2-3 years in a management position. Must have 7-10 years in the Grocery Store Business. Must have prior supervisory experience. Must have a current Food Handlers certificate. English language proficiency, both speaking and reading.

To be filled by Tribal Council appointment from enrolled members of the Hoopa Valley Tribe. Seeking individuals with interest in land-use planning, zoning and subdivision ordinances, understanding of general plans, land leases pursuant to the Tribal Land Assignment/Lease Ordinance of the Hoopa Valley Tribe. Term: Two (2) years. Compensation shall be determined by the Tribal Council.
