VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION COUNSELOR, Hoopa Yurok Vocational Rehabilitation Program, Regular, F/T, Salary $36,000.00-$38,000.00/yr. DOE. Minimum Qualifications: Four (4) year Degree required. Two (2) years of social work experience. Must have a valid CA Driver’s License and be insurable. Subject to full background check including fingerprints according to Title 30-A. ON-CALL RECEPTIONIST, Hoopa Valley Tribal Council – Administration Department, Temporary, On-call, Salary: $12.00/hr. Greets visitors and/or arranges for appointment with person(s) called upon. Directs callers to destination and records name, time of call, nature of business and person called upon. Answers telephone and directs calls to the proper person or department. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Must have a High School Diploma of GED. Ability to operate main console – MLX 20L & Transtalk 9031. Must be proficient in the use of computers. Must possess a Valid CA Driver’s License and be insurable. DEADLINE: January 16, 2018

RECRUITER, Hoopa TCCC Program, Regular, F/T, Salary: $14.50/hr. – $16.50/hr. Work days/hours: (Tuesday-Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) Responsible for performing and/or coordinating a variety of activities involved in the recruitment and selection of applicants for enrollment to the Hoopa Tribal CCC and Hoopa AmeriCorps Program(s). Minimum Requirements: Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be 25 years of age or older. Must have an Associate of Arts or Science (A.A. or A.S.) Degree OR a combination of 3 years of work experience and/or college credits that relate to this field of work. Ability to obtain First Responders-Medical and Basic 32 Wild land Firefighting certification within the first year of hire. Must have a Valid CA Driver’s License and be insurable. Must pass and maintain a cleared NSOPW and Criminal History Check in compliance with AmeriCorps provisions. DEADLINE: January 22, 2018

AMERICORPS MEMBER, Hoopa AmeriCorps Program, F/T, Temporary, Salary: $554.00 bi-weekly stipend. Will serve 900 or 1700 hrs. of volunteer national service for Elders on the Hoopa Reservation. Minimum Requirements: Must be a US Citizen. Must be 18-24 years of age. Can be 17 years of age with a High School Diploma or G.E.D. Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check. Cannot have any Felonies. DEADLINE: February 5, 2018

HOOPA EDUCATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Three (3) vacancies to be filled by enrolled members of the Hoopa Valley Tribe. Qualifications of Directors: Individuals with differing expertise in such areas as: (a) Parents who have a child/children enrolled in Early Childhood programs, grades K-12, or other school age programs, and who are actively involved in education; (b) A student who is enrolled in a vocational/technical program, college, or university and who is in good standing; (c) Individuals who may be a classroom teacher, program coordinator or manager, have extensive experience serving on parent committee/boards, provide services to education programs, actively involved in the field of education, and are recognized for their expertise in and understanding education; (d) Members must be 18 years of age or older and have completed High School. Terms: Three (3) yrs.

HOOPA VALLEY PUBLIC UTITLIES DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS
One vacancy (2-year) to be filled by Tribal Council appointment from enrolled members of the Hoopa Valley Tribe. Directors shall be appointed by the HVT Council subject to such screening procedures set forth attempting to secure representatives of diverse interests on the Reservation and shall be guided by the best interests of the Tribe. All members are required to be bondable. All members shall perform their respective duties prescribed by the HVPUD By-Laws. Terms: Two (2) years.
