DEPUTY HUMAN RESOUCES DIRECTOR, Hoopa HR/Insurance Department
Full-Time, Temporary, $55,000.00 – $57,855.00/year
Duties: Assists in the overseeing of the daily administration of the Personnel Policies and Procedures; Assists in developing policy, directing and coordinating the Human Resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services.
Minimum Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and five (5) years of Human Resources experience; or nine (9) years of experience in the HR field. Human Resources Certification desired. Must possess excellent and proficient computer skills and knowledge of MIP Fund Accounting software; Abilia HR Management, Human Resources system, and Microsft system. Must possess a Valid CA Driver’s License and be insurable. Subject to full background check including fingerprints according to Title 30-A.

FLEET/ASSISTANT PERSONNEL & PAYROLL CLERK, Hoopa Tribal Forestry Department, Regular, F/T, Salary: DOE. Maintains inventory records of all Tribal Forestry Department vehicles; Maintains personnel records by filing any related personnel/payroll papers; records employee information such as personal data, compensations benefits, tax data, and attendance. Minimum Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older. Must possess a High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of one (1) year experience in personnel or payroll related duties. Must have experience with computers and have knowledge of application software programs, i.e. Windows, Word, Excel, Access, etc. Must have experience in performance reviews. Must have a Valid CA Driver’s License and be insurable. DEADLINE: March 27, 2018

ACORN/WARRIOR CAMP COORDINATOR(S) (1 Female – 1 Male), Hoopa Education Department/NDN Center/JOM Program, F/T, Temporary, Salary: $1,400.00 – $1,800.00 stipend. Works in conjunction with NDN Center/JOM staff and camp staff to plan, coordinate, and oversee Acorn and/or Warrior Camps (to be held June 28th – July 1st, 2018) and provides direct supervision for all camp staff, volunteers, and presenters. Camp Coordinator(s) are required to plan and facilitate under direction of their supervisor, the pre-camp orientation and training.  Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older by June 1, 2018. Must have a High School Diploma or GED.  Must have First Aid & CPR Certifications or willing to obtain prior to camps. Must have a valid CA Driver’s License and be insurable. Subject to background investigation including fingerprints according to Title 30A. DEADLINE: April 30, 2018

ACORN/WARRIOR CAMP COUNSELOR(S) (8-12 Female) (6-10 Male), Hoopa Education Department/NDN Center/JOM Program, F/T, Temporary, Salary: $800.00 – $900.00 stipend. Works in conjunction with our Camp Coordinator and staff to supervise camper’s ages 8-13 years old. Supervises and serves as a mentor to all the youth attending the summer camps and helps motivate them to participate in all camp activities. All counselors are required to attend a pre-camp orientation and training. Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older by June 1, 2018. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must have First Aid & CPR Certifications or willing to obtain prior to camps. Subject to background investigation including fingerprints according to Title 30A. Acorn and Warrior Camps will take place (June 28th – July 1st, 2018). DEADLINE: May 9, 2018

ACORN/WARRIOR CAMP COOK, Hoopa Education Department/NDN Center/JOM Program, F/T, Temporary, Salary: $1,500.00 – $2,000.00 stipend. Works with Acorn/Warrior Camp Coordinators to plan menus and related shopping lists. Prepares, cooks, cleans up and serves healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for camp participants, including any special accommodations for allergies or special dietary needs. Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older by June 1, 2018. Must have 1-2 years’ experience cooking for large groups/children/summer camps/ dance camps. Must have a valid CA Driver’s License and be insurable. Must possess a current Food Handlers Card. Subject to background investigation including fingerprints according to Title 30A. Acorn and Warrior Camps will take place (June 28th – July 1st, 2018). DEADLINE: May 21, 2018
